It is yet to come…
… the day when Bush Administration will be seen as the major responsible factor for the escalade of violence in the last few years. The tendency begins to gain shape in the middle of the President’s propaganda, in spite of being now seen as Dick Cheney’s right arm, when the opposite would be expected. Still I don’t see George W. Bush as the idiot he appears; he’s a strategist, a follower of his father footsteps, which isn’t at all positive.
In relation to the geopolitical options of the Bush Administration i’m globally against them. I believe that fighting terrorism with terror is a foolish thing to do when aware to the international security; the mere existence of the so called ‘terrorist’ groups only makes sense when opposing to something, and that ’something’ is the attempt of democratization and occidentalization of countries where culturally reality is far different. On the other hand, it doesn’t make sense that Bush affirms that he intends to end political exploration and despotism throughout the world when he only intervenes in the Persian Gulf naighbour countries, leaving aside serious humanitarian situations happening, for example, in North Korea and China, where a significant part of the population still lives in misery.
The interest isn’t necessarily in improving the international social well-being; it is, most of all, in reaching political-economic and imperialistic interests in arab land, where the ‘Islamic Revolution’ should long ago have had the effect of making the west know that it’s impossible to generalize regional political conceptions and ideologies to other parts of the world, where societies maintain other visions on life itself.
9/11 was no more than a clever answer from an islamic fanatic group to the imperialistic north-american pursuit. It isn’t strange that since then only Bush Administration supportive countries have been attacked. Totally reprehensible, the aerial attack gained, and continues doing it, all the mediatic attention to the war field. One forgets the unnecessary american attacks to islamic countries.
The unconditional support to Israel is another clear signal of the less importance attributed to the humanitarian side on the process. The israeli attack to Lebanon was a coward one and, even worst, it was left unpunished, which was expected from the USA but not in an international level, where the silenced UN revealed how americanized it is. The ‘until-the-war’ martirized people of Israel adopted, for the very first time, an offensive posture, which won’t be at all positive in a medium-term period. The arab naighbours don’t forgive the concession of the holy land to the jews, and that sentiment has, clearly, raised after the killing spree we attended motionless.

Protesters sued

It’s about time. The wesboro “baptist church” has been out of control for quite some time. And I support the family who has chosen to sue them at this time.
Westboro has taken what it calls “love crusades” to military funerals across the country. The church was not protesting at the funeral because Ewens was gay, but because he died, in their view, serving a country that has incurred the wrath of God by accepting and tolerating homosexuality.
This so called “church” is filled with hate and judging eyes. What Bible they use is truly one they have altered. They represent nothing Christ like. And it’s a shame because they cannot and choose not to see the errors of their ways. It’s a family church which doesn’t help the cause any bit. Here in America we have such freedom when it comes to religion. A freedom we expect. And those like westboro choose to take advantage and abuse it. We can only pray for them. Because right now they cannot save themselves. They are too far down the road of destruction. Disguised as doing the Lord’s work. But anyone can clearly see, that the Lord would not be pleased.
For the first time since members of Westboro began protesting at military funerals, someone is using the courts to stop them. A distraught father has filed suit in Maryland against what he views as a gross violation of privacy and intentional emotional abuse.

Great Future Ahead For Paralysed People
Scientists have successfully implanted a sensor in a paralysed man’s brain which enable him to open e-mail, play computer games, and pinch a prosthetic hand’s fingers just by thoughts.
These projects are very important, because there is real potential for helping people that have had severe neural disabilities.
The US team behind the sensor hopes its technology can one day be incorporated into the body to restore the movement of paralysed limbs themselves.
Other developments regarding this matter:
- 31 March, 2005 – A paralysed man in the US has become the first person to benefit from a brain chip that reads his mind.
- 7 December, 2004 – Four people, two of them partly paralysed wheelchair users, successfully moved a computer cursor while wearing a cap with 64 electrodes.
- 24 March, 2004 – A video game in which the character is controlled directly from a player’s brain without the need for wires has been developed by researchers.

Love vs. Neglect
I would rather a child grow up being loved by someone than to go through the system with no one to depend on. That great “backwards” state of Arkansas is seeking a ban on gay foster parents.
I can’t really give a definite explanation on my stance toward gay marriage and the gay agenda period. But I do firmly believe that I would rather let a gay/lesbian/bi/transgendered person adopt a child than to let that child go without love from anyone. Or to grow up on their own in the foster care system.
Who can say what true love is? Is the problem because they feel that child will grow up gay? That’s no more true than saying those raised in a heterosexual family won’t grow up gay. Ummm…obviously that theory is bunk. So why deny a loving family a child based on their sexual identity?
For awhile I’ll admit I was iffy on the thought of gays adopting. I too was bamboozled into believing they would raise gay children. Then I thought to myself…AND? ::Clearing head:: Does that mean that parents who divorce are setting their children up to divorce later one? Does that mean that all parents who cheat on their spouses will raise a child that would do the same? No! We raise our children to be better than ourselves. [I'm not saying hetrosexuality is better than homosexuality], but we raise our children with the best intent possible. At least those of us who are sane.
Being raised by gays doesn’t cause academic problems or gender identity problems, as the state had argued, the Supreme Court said.
Duh.
